This 4 week online series will empower you with the understanding of why pain persists in the body and how you can override the danger signals with mindful movement, breath work and meditation. Weekly Topics: Week 1 - The Purpose of Pain. Week 2 - Pain. It's complicated. Week 3 - Perception is everything. Week 4 - Finding your edge. Class Plan: 7:00pm Opening Meditation & Introductions 7:15pm Pain Neuroscience Education with video facilitator Neil Pearson, PT @paincareaware Followed by group discussions. 7:45pm Gentle Hatha & Restorative Yoga 8:15pm Yoga Nidra & Closing Experience the nurturing support of connections made within our safe and inclusive pain care community. Classes will be held weekly online.
